This year it is expected that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the notification regarding JEE Main 2018 by the end of November 2017. The competent authority has recently made few announcements regarding the increase in the number of seats, mode of conduct and date of conduct of JEE 2018.
As per the sources, JEE Advanced 2018 will be conducted on May 20, 2018, and JEE Main 2018 will commence on April 01 and 08, 2018, however, these dates are tentative ones and CBSE has not confirmed it yet. Not long ago, Joint Admission Board (JAB) has declared that JEE Advanced 2018 will be conducted online to avoid the typographical error encountered in Advanced 2017 question paper.
JEE 2018 conducting authority will gift a bonus of 4000 additional seats in JEE Advanced 2018 to the applicants. Top 2, 24, 000 JEE Main 2018 qualified candidates will be eligible to appear in Advanced 2018 as per the notification released on the official website of JEE Advanced. This increase of 4000 candidates in Joint Entrance Examination Advanced is because of the decision taken by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) to increase 1, 000 seats in IITs across the country.
CBSE conducts Joint Entrance Examination Main every year for the engineering aspirants and those who qualify it are eligible to appear in JEE Advanced. On qualifying Advanced admission in given into IITs considering candidate’s merit and AIR. NITs, IIITs, many state and leading private engineering institutes consider the score of Joint Entrance Examination Main during the admission.

It is expected that the officials will release the notification regarding the date of JEE Main 2018 application form and is expected to be announced by late November or early December.
