The central board of secondary education has declared the JEE Main 2018 Online Application Form Date. This examination will be conducted to allow candidate get admission in the reputed IITs of India. JEE Main 2018 Registration Form will get available from 1st December 2017. The deadline to fill the application form is 1st January 2018 and candidates are required to carry their Aadhaar card.
This exam will take place in both online and offline mode. JEE Main 2018 Dates for offline mode i.e. paper-based examination is 8th April and for online mode, i.e. computer-based examination is 15 or 16th April.
To appear in this exam, the candidate needs to meet some eligibility criteria, they are
• Candidate should be born on or before 1st October 1993.
• They should have appeared for the 12th standard examination in 2016 or 2017 or going to appear in 2018.
Candidates can attempt the Main exam, maximum of three times. Those candidates who will be qualifying the JEE Main will be allowed to sit in JEE Advanced 2018. The JEE will get some changes by the next year. One is the exam mode of Advanced going completely to online. Moreover, the scientific designing of the papers with questions difficulty ranging from 1 to 10.
The ministry of human resource and development, the government of India has notified the following two changes in the exam pattern form 2017.
• No weightage will be given to the class 12th standard, to calculate the Rank.
• Candidate should have scored more than 75% in 12th board or belong to 20 percentile in 12th standard.
In the addition, JAB has also decided to implement the 14th reservation seats for girls students from 2018. The reservation will increase in the phased manner by 20% in 2026.
The states of Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Nagaland, Odisha and other institutions have recently joined the JEE. The candidates seeking admission in these states need to submit the application form for this exam.
