MHT CET 2018 (Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test) is state level entrance examination conducted by DTE, Maharashtra for giving admission to the candidates in engineering, pharmacy, and health science courses offered by the government, semi-government, and private institute. It has been recently announced by DTE, Maharashtra that 20% weightage will be given to Class 11th syllabus and 80% weightage to Class 12th syllabus. The difficulty level of the examination will be same as JEE Main for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and equivalent to NEET UG for Biology. Also, 85% seats in the state government/ private/ private unaided colleges will be filled through MHT Common Entrance Test 2018 and the remaining 15% seats that come under All India Quota will be filled through All India Level examination viz. MHT CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates appearing in MHT Common Entrance Test 2018 must fulfill all the eligibility criteria set by DTE, Maharashtra. The eligibility criteria varies for each course, however, it is important for all the applicants to pass HSC/ 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board. For Engineering Course
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational courses with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for the reserved category) from a recognized Board are considered eligible for admission to get admission in Engineering course through MHT Common Entrance Test 2018. It is mandatory for the applicants to be an Indian national.
For Pharmacy Course
The minimum eligibility requirement of Pharmacy course is the candidate must have passed Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subjects and English with minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates) from any recognized state/ national level Board.
For Allied Health Sciences Course
Applicants who have completed HSC/ 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, English as main subjects and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology anyone of these as the optional subject from a recognized Board are eligible to get admission in Allied Health Science course through Maharashtra Health and Technical CET 2018.

MHT CET 2018 Exam Pattern
MHT CET 2018 has three papers to solve. Paper I will have questions on Chemistry and Physics, Paper II will have questions on Botany and Zoology, and Paper III will have questions on Mathematics. Paper I will have 50 questions each from Chemistry and Physics, Paper II will have 50 questions from Botany and Zoology each, and 50 questions from Mathematics. Each paper will be of 100 marks. MHT CET 2018 Result

MHT CET 2018 Counselling and Seat Allotment
MHTCET 2018 Counselling will be held in the 1st week of June, 2018 as indicated by DTE, Maharashtra. It is a Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted on the instructions of DTE, Maharashtra. The counselling will be conducted in three rounds followed by additional rounds required to fill up the vacant seatsif any.
